Web / Graphic Designer
Key responsibilities:
- Designing and planning technical solutions to meet business requirements of the website.
- Designing and coding a range of creative including: newsletters, banners, window posters, websites, landing pages.
- Design, build and maintain bespoke websites.
- Analyse websites and make recommendations for on-page improvements.
- To test website interaction and performance prior to going live.
- To activate and check the live website functionality.
- To check redirecting and fixing broken links on the website.
- To monitor, maintain the functionality of the website.
- To create collateral such as PDF reports.
- Review social media, responding as appropriate.
- Providing regular search performance reports with recommendations for improvement.
- Track record of developing scalable web applications.
- A good and demonstrable understanding of SEO, both on-page and off-page.
- Coding and developing features for new and existing products.
- Upkeep and maintenance of existing products.
- Taking part in team activities such as collaborative-development, design and code-reviews.
Essential Criteria:
- Excellent understanding of HTML and CSS
- Understanding of web related security issues.
- Understanding of other digital marketing channels such as Social Media & E-mail Marketing and how they integrate.
- To maintain the newsletter system.
- To edit the static pages.
- Good understanding of JavaScript and jQuery.
- Good understanding of basic programming practices.
- Experience with C#.NET for Web.
- Strong Experience in Adobe, Creative Cloud (cc) Photoshop, Indesign, Dreamweaver, Illustrator.
- Experience with Visual Studio.
